Evangelism Near Doorways to Hell

by Rick Allen on November 01, 2023

Five years ago, I visited a country where young women and children are trafficked and sexually exploited in the thousands.

I will never forget how my spirit and emotions were shaken as I caught a glimpse of the terrible reality that is global human trafficking. With evil and injustice being perpetrated all around me, I held onto a chain-link fence and wept. I asked God, “Why do you allow this to happen? What can we do?”

The Holy Spirit showed me how my responsibility as a man, a minister, and a Christ-follower is to reach out to the one person standing before me at any given time, not to despair over the enormity of the task to reach and rescue everyone.

So I am grateful to God that He has connected Light for the Lost with Assemblies of God missionaries bringing the light of Christ into places where human beings are bought, sold, and discarded. LFTL will always provide evangelistic resources for missionaries working in the area of human trafficking--which involves prevention, humanitarian aid, direct ministry, rescue, and restoration).

We Still Believe that we can reach, rescue, and help restore people living near a doorway to hell. Your participation in our year-end campaign to raise $5 million for world evangelism is so critical. Please give generously so that our missionaries have what they need.

They have the hard part as they stand near doorways to hell each day. Let’s stand with them and demonstrate that We Still Believe in the Mission.
